We are thrilled to announce that "My Beautiful Doll" is an official selection for The 12th ClujShorts International Short Film Festival.
The festival takes place in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania from 12 to 14 April 2024 and "My Beautiful Doll" is the only short film from Iran in the competition section.

We are trilled to announce that Lost Empire of Persia won The Bronze Award in New York Festivals Film & TV Awards. This documentary is an extended version of our previous production "Lost City of Persia", which we produced for Science Channel and Discovery+ as an episode of the Unearthed TV Series. We successfully wrapped the filming of our newest project "When We Clash in Tehran.
"When We Clash" is a documentary TV series, produced by Deutsche Welle in 12 countries. Persian Magic Art Group is proud to be selected to produce the Iran episode of this amazing series in Iran. Directed by Hesam Dehghani, filming was wrapped after 7 sessions in several locations of Tehran.

"Trauma: The Darkest Side", a film by Hesam Dehghani, was screened for cast and crew and some guests in Ferdowsi Hall of Tehran. More than 70 guests, including famous Iranian actors and film directors, were invited to the screening.

"Falldown" a short film by Ghazal Ghorbani is an official selection in The 11st One Shot Terressa Cirty of Film Festival, which takes place from October 25 to 30 in Spain.
This is a festival dedicated to one shot films (film without any cut from the beginning to the end) and takes place in Terressa, which is listed by UNESCO as a City of Film.

We are thrilled to announce that "Trauma" directed by Hesam Dehghani won the Best Crime Film Award from the 7th Discover Film Awards in London, one of the biggest film festivals in the world.
"Trauma" is also an official selection in The 40th Pordenone Silent Film Festival (Italy) and Crossroads International Short Film Festival (Turkey).

"Trauma: The Darkest Side" directed by Hesam Dehghani won the Best Feature Film Award from the 7th Art Color Digital Cinema International Film Festival (ACDCIFF) in Belgium. The festival took place from May 24 to 31 in Brussels and short films, animations and feature films competed for the award in various categories.
Trauma: The Darkest Side is the first feature film by Hesam Dehghani and it consists of 5 episodes, each about one of the negative human feelings: Despair, Temptation, Guilt, Doubt and Anger.

After finishing the first filming in Persepolis for one episode of the famous UNEARTHED documentary TV series, we received another exciting offer to produce a longer version of the film, 90 minutes this time.
WindFall Films (based in London) sent us the full shooting script and we wrapped filming during the second week of April and sent all the rushes (ground and aerials) to the post production house in UK. The film will be broadcast on Science TV and Discovery Channel in 2021.
Like the first production, we managed to obtain all permissions for shooting in the desired locations (including Persepolis Museum and Inventory, with items never seen before).

We just wrapped filming of the Persepolis episode of UNEARTHED 5 documentary TV series in various locations of Fars province.
We filmed all footage (General shots, aerials, interviews,...) in some of the most famous Iran's historic sites, i.e. Persepolis, Pasargadae and Naqsh e Rostam.
WindFall Films based in London is the producer of this TV series and Science TV (Discovery) will broadcast it in early 2021.
We handled all steps in pre-production and production tasks and sent the footage to the production company in London for post-production phase.

After about one year, and facing the CoVid-19 pandemic, we are really excited to announce that Persian Magic's first feature film"Trauma: The Darkest Side" is now getting very close to its release.
The film is a thriller/drama movie, about five human negative feelings: Despair, Temptation, Guilt, Suspicion and Anger.

We are happy to announce that our short film Trauma has been accepted for the main competition section of Salto International Fear & Fantasy Film Festival (NOX Film Fest), which took place in January in Uruguay.
Also, Trauma will be screened in Moscow in April, as part of the short film competition section of DetectiveFest.

We are very excited to announce that our latest international collaboration "SISTERS ABOART, a film by Daphne Charizani, will be screened in this year's Berlinale film festival.
"Rojda, a German soldier and native Kurd, volunteers for a mission to train female Kurdish soldiers in Iraq to fight ISIS. No one must know that she is actually looking for her missing sister."
We provided some post-production services to this amazing movie and we worked directly with the director and the producer (Martin Hampbell). Also, Maryam Boobani, the famous Iranian actress, has a main role in this movie.

We just wrapped shooting the Iran Segment of the documentary film Break A Nail in Tehran.
It's a series of films produced by ZoomIn TV (based in Netherlands) about girls around the world who have broken through stereotypes and proved that they are not inferior to men, even in hard sports. In the Iran segment of this film, we see a female wrestling champion and wrestler coach in Tehran who could conquer all obstacles and make her dream come true.

We are super happy to announce that the shooting of the Iran segment of the documentary TV Series "The Origin" has just been completed in Iran!
The film was ordered by The Educational Broadcasting System based in South Korea and we were filmed all the necessary shots on their behalf in Iran. We travelled to 9 cities and filmed in 10 different locations to cover all scenes based on the storyboards.
The Iran segment is about Qanats, a technology invented by Persians more than 3,000 years ago to bring out the water from underground in deserts.

We are so excited that we were a part of the collaborating project by Matthew Nevin. "The Core Project" was an ambitious artwork that was successfully exhibited in Dublin's Rua Red gallery and it is going to be screened in USA in 2018.
"The Core Project" is a large-scale installation of 144 videos from filmmakers across the globe. Each film shows a person answering a questions that he/she has not previously seen.
Hesam Dehghani filmed the segment for Iran and Darya Yaseri, the actress who has worked with Hesam in CollabFeature's latest web series "A Billion to One" answered the question.
"The Core Project" was very well received by audience and critics and they called it one of the most diverse projects of all time.

The award-winning short documentary "Five Senses of Art" has been accepted in 2 more film festivals.
First, it was screened in the main competition section of Troia Handmade Documentary Film Festival. The festival took place from August 2 to 5 in the beautiful city of Troia (Italy).
The film has also been selected for the main competition section of Zagreb International TourFilm Festival which will take place from September 13 to 15 in Zagreb, Croatia.

In the last couple of months we were busy with pre-production of an amazing international film project about the ancient empires.
The film, directed by the Australian filmmaker Jared Vincent, was planned to be filmed in 4 countries: Greece, Italy, UK and Iran; and we, at Persian Magic, provided various services to the international team who travelled to Shiraz for filming. That included:
Obtaining Visas, Shoot Permits for all desired locations (including important historic sites), Fixing, Aerial Filming, Hiring Actress/Model, Transportation, Domestic Flights, Accommodation and managing the whole project in Iran. The result was so exciting and everything went as planned.
The film is in Post-Production phase now and will be released in November 2017.

The short documentary film "Five Senses of Art" won an important award from The 9th Riga International Tourism Film Festival!
The awards ceremony took place on April 30th in the spectacular Splendid Palace Cinema in Riga, Latvia. The film won an award in the category of Newcomer and Hesam Dehghani accepted the award from Mrs. Sandra Inkena, the festival manager.
Congratulations to all and everybody who participated in making this film.

We just wrapped an amazing project for IRU (International Road Transportation Union) based in Switzerland. We filmed parts of this exciting documentary in Tehran and in the border of Iran and Turkey. The shooting took 3 weeks and we sent all the footage to the post production company in Istanbul.
